Botanical name: Persea Gratissima

Origin: Avocados are believed to be primarily native to Mexico, where Aztec tribes used to spread the fruit on their skin and create facial masks. Our avocado oil is sourced from the world's leading avocado producer, South Africa, obtained from pressed avocado fruits.

Avocado oil is rich in fatty acids and anti-inflammatory antioxidants, suitable for dry, aging and dehydrated skin. It is easily absorbed and can help with skin problems such as eczema. It can be used as a carrier oil combined with essential oils, for aromatherapy treatments or added to lotions, creams, masks or bath oils.

Color and smell: It has a pale yellow to light green color with a very mild aroma.
